Somatic Practices
Learning the language of the body.
The body communicates long before the mind understands. Somatic practices help you begin to listen — to recognise the signals of a nervous system that has been carrying more than it was meant to, and to gently, safely help it put things down.

The Practice
What are somatic practices?
Somatic means "of the body." Somatic practices are body-based approaches to awareness, regulation, and healing — working with sensation, movement, breath, and presence rather than narrative or analysis alone.
These sessions are designed for people who have noticed that thinking about their stress doesn't make it leave — and who are ready to work with the body as a doorway to deeper regulation.
Healing does not happen only through understanding. It also happens through feeling safe enough to soften.
What your body may be telling you
These are nervous system signals, not personality traits.
- Tightness in the chest or throat
- Jaw tension or teeth grinding
- Restlessness or an inability to settle
- Emotional numbness or shutdown
- Hypervigilance and chronic alertness
- A general feeling of disconnection from the body
What it may support
Through grounding, movement, breath, and awareness — the body can begin to shift.
- Increased body awareness and self-understanding
- Gradual release of held tension and chronic stress
- Improved capacity for emotional regulation
- Greater sense of safety within the body
- Reduction in hypervigilance and anxiety responses
- Deeper connection to physical sensation
Ready to begin working with the body rather than against it?
Somatic sessions are available individually or as part of an ongoing practice. No experience necessary.
Guided safely and gently.
The body already knows the way.
Your only role is to begin showing up for it. We'll do the rest together.
